Catharsis 0.9
best-practices gathering - Application Framework, strongly OOP.

I. Full Web support based on
ASP.NET MVC (preview 5), NHibernate 2.0.

II. WPF Windows client solution skeleton
WPF (SP1), NHibernate 2.0

Web and WPF solutions are using the same architecture. Dao for entity access based on NHibernate 2.0, Business rules encapsulated in Facades and AOP filters on Business layer. Web and WPF almost the same MVC approach!

Version 0.9 brings new features!
- Excel export built-in (VB.NET must be installed with VS)
- The same architecture for Windows client based on WPF

Catharsis among other features has
- the GUIDANCE (You MUST try it)
- OOP is the essence of Catharsis
- adding new entity takes few seconds + next business rules adjustment
- paging and sorting on SQL server side
- no need for view state or session! (almost)
- powerful role provider, with CurrenRole evaluation (every user must select one so caled 'Current role' which is evaluated against access rules) Application content is there fore one-current-role dependent
- localization (in runtime add or remove languages and translations - everything is stored in db - no .resx files)
- user can switch UI language using keyboard setting in a browser or selecting (clicking) on a supplied languages list
- There is built-in change tracking in Catharsis based on PAX design pattern

- you can use SQL scripts, or DB backup with a few translations (English and Czech)
